Inside Sales Representative (filled by CNI Recruiting)

JOB NUMBER: 2008

JOB SUMMARY: Inside Sales Representative selling legal and other business services to mid-level and large law firms, financial institutions, and corporations. Full sales cycle responsibility. Some sales leads will be provided. Candidates will work from home during travel restrictions related to the Coronavirus and subsequently from company offices in Montclair, NJ.  This is a new position due to growth.

COMPENSATION: Base salary $50-60,000 for entry-level candidates, higher for experienced candidates. Commissions are 10% of customers’ first-year revenue and 3-5% of all subsequent revenue. Commissions are not capped and build like an annuity. Current Sales Reps earn between $170-300k per year.

The work environment is entrepreneurial, informal, professional, high energy, and team-oriented. The company provides excellent sales support. The company is located in the Montclair area of NJ.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sell legal and other business services to attorneys and paralegals at law firms, financial institutions, and corporations.
  • Achieve sales goals
  • Generate prospective clients via cold calling, email, etc.
  • Manage the sales process and close new accounts.
  • Upsell current clients
  • Utilize Salesforce.com to help manage the sales process
  • Monitor competition for new products, pricing, and technology changes in the market space.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • General business knowledge
  • Self-motivated
  • Experience with MS Office suite including PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Effective communication (oral and written) skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Great follow up skills
  • Professional presence and demeanor
  • Hunter mentality, driven to succeed, engaging personality.

HELPFUL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Business development experience selling to law firms, financial institutions, or other corporations.
  • Negotiating, closing, territory management, and presentation skills.
